CHARACTER 1 – COWGIRL

NOTE: The records of this course are being done daily at the moment. At this moment I’m in the chapter 7, but you can already see the previous chapters. I will finish the records on 17th of September of 2017, but after this date I will add more bonus content. When you enter in the course you have access to all the recorded lesson at the moment, nothing is locked.

You can see the work in progress HEREI’m following a concept art by Alexander Kretov THIS ONE

Software used in this course:
-Maya and Zbrush R8 for the modeling, Arnold for the shading and render, xGen for haird and fur, 3D Coat for the retopology, Mari and Substance Painter for the textures projection and paint;

Character creation approach:
-In this course, I’m creating the cowgirl using some pre-made material, like basemeshes and textures. This approach is very common inside production studios, so we save time in the time of the build of the characters, but don’t think is a easy or linear process, we need to do some work arounds. So it’s what I will pass to you.

What is included in the course?
-Unlimited access to all the HD videos and content;
-Bonus content, I will add more lessons regarding new techniques, approaches and content later on, so you will be up to date with new content;
-Full scene files included, this means you have access to the final model, textures, hair, shading, etc, so you can study it in your computer and interact with it (I will provide this in the end of the course when I have all the character finished);
-Access at anytime and anywhere: desktop, smartphone, ipad, etc;
-The course has no cuts, this means, I’m passing all the process, nothing is fake, so you see all the real process of the production of this character;
-Access to private Facebook group;
-Access to students work in progress;
-No mentorship.

Free Lessons! You can find free lessons of this course in the curriculum below. Here’s the list for better find:
-CHAPTER 5 > Lesson 19 – Sculpting the base mesh of the head – Nose

CHARACTER 2 – MINOTAUR

NOTE: I’m recording this course in Portuguese. I’m providing the English version (Audio in English) daily.

You can see the work in progress HERE. I’m following a concept art by Konechaos THIS ONE.

Software used in this course:
-3DsMax and Zbrush R8 for the modeling, V-Ray for the shading and render, Ornatrix for haird and fur, 3D Coat for the retopology, Mari and Photoshop for the textures hand paint;

Character creation approach:
-In this course, I’m creating the minotaur all from scratch, not using any basemesh or pre-made textures (only for the assets I use some leather and metal). I build everything from the ground up, do the retopology of the body and assets, I do all the body textures painted by hand from scratch, dirt masks on the assets, etc. This approach is very common inside production studios when we need to build a creature, where we don’t have any basemesh or textures to start with, because is a very particular design.

What is included in the course?
-Unlimited access to all the HD videos and content;
-Bonus content, I will add more lessons regarding new techniques, approaches and content later on, so you will be up to date with new content;
-Full scene files included, this means you have access to the final model, textures, hair, shading, etc, so you can study it in your computer and interact with it (I will provide this in the end of the course when I have all the character finished);
-Access at anytime and anywhere: desktop, smartphone, ipad, etc;
-The course has no cuts, this means, I’m passing all the process, nothing is fake, so you see all the real process of the production of this character;
-Access to private Facebook group;
-Access to students work in progress;
-No mentorship.
